Enrollment
Registration packets are available in the main office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the school year, or Wednesdays 9:00am to 12:00pm during the summer. You may also click the link below to download a copy of the enrollment packet.
Kindergarten packets for the next school year will be available after April 1, 2026
The following documents will be needed to complete all student enrollment:
- Proof of Birth: Government-issued/State Certified Copy of the Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records: The student’s Tennessee Department of Health Immunization Certificate (shot record signed by the child’s physician or county health department with complete K-6th grade). Visit the Knox County Schools Immunization page for more details.
- Recent Physical Examination: Proof of a physical exam dated within 30 days of enrollment start date.
- Proof of Residence: One of the following—gas, water, or electric bill or lease/rental/mortgage agreement. If the utility bill and/or lease agreement is in the name of someone other than the parent/guardian, that individual must provide the utility bill and/or lease agreement, along with a notarized letter confirming that the parent/guardian and children reside at the address.
Kindergarten: Children must be five (5) years old by August 15 of the year they will start kindergarten.
Children may enroll in first grade if they:
- Attended an approved kindergarten program the previous year, and

Are six (6) years old on or before September 30 of the current school year.
Note: A child cannot enroll in first grade without having attended an approved kindergarten program.
